Hayes Machine Company, Inc. was founded in
1944 by two brothers, Charles F. Hayes Sr. and Gerald R.
Hayes. The company
started out in the tool and die industry and progressed into the packaging
industry in 1957, when the first Hayes cartoner was manufactured.
Hayes Machine Company, Inc. offers leading edge technology in horizontal
cartoning, case packing, tray formers, palletizing and product handling systems.
Hayes was founded in 1944 where it started out in the tool and die industry. In
1957, the first cartoner was manufactured and the company progressed into the
packaging industry. In 1993, Gram Equipment, an international company, who is a
leading manufacturer of ice cream equipment, purchased Hayes. Today, Hayes is
part of
SACMI USA, with a
working relationship with Inpak Imola, Benco
Pack, Gram Equipment and
Sidam. Hayes has been serving industries such
as: frozen food, pharmaceutical, dairy, hardware, personal care products, paper,
consumer goods, bakery, and candy.
With the support of an exceptional engineering department, Hayes continues to
manufacture high quality machinery for many "Fortune" 500 companies both in the
